The perpetrator was ordered to pay me restitution. Why am I not receiving it?
Many defendants are ordered to pay restitution to their victims. Restitution is generally paid to the probation department in installments. The probation department may then hold the funds until there is a sufficient amount to send to the victim. If you are not receiving court ordered restitution, you may contact the probation department at (607) 535-8165 or the District Attorney's Office at 607) 535-8383.
